Even if a company doesn’t ask for a PDS before a job interview this form can be used as a reminder when filling out job applications. For example, remembering all the dates of each position that has been held can be tricky — especially while under a lot of pressure.

The main purpose of a PDS is to give basic information about the capabilities that are relevant to the position you are applying for. This kind of form usually minimizes the amount of questions during an interview since all the data HR is looking for has already been listed.

What Information Should be Provided in a PDS Form?
Every company has its own list of mandatory information for applicants. However, the most common requirements include:
